Creating events for cosplay photography in Sweden.
Our goal is to create opportunities for cosplayers and photographers to meet and collaborate in unique locations. Our events will generally take place during one day in one specific, carefully selected location. Each event will only be able to take a limited number of participants and to attend you will therefore have to go through an application process. Once accepted you will be able to freely plan sessions with the other participants. To challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, and to make sure that everyone gets to plan at least one set during the event, you will also be randomly paired up with another participant for the first photo session of the event.

Om Platsen
Platsen vi valt är ett slott byggt på 1600-talet. Det har genomgått renoveringar och tillbyggnader på 1700 och 1800-talen då det bland annat byggdes till torn i vardera hörn av slottet. Mycket av interiören är helt orörd sedan dess. Rummen bjuder på vackert ljusinsläpp, tapeter med 100-tals år på nacken och tidstypisk möblering.
I närheten av slottet finns ett kafé som serverar mackor, fika mm.
Resa och boende
Platsen ligger i Stockholms län, ca. 30 minuter med bil från centrala Stockholm. Bil är också bästa sättet att ta sig till platsen. Busstrafik med SL finns, men bussarna går bara en-två gånger per dag.
I anslutning till platsen finns vandrarhem. Det finns även gott om andra boendemöjligheter i övriga Stockholmsområdet.

Vi har tillgång till insidan av slottet mellan 12 och 17 på eventdagen. På grund av brandskyddsskäl får bara en begränsad mängd personer vistas i byggnaden samtidigt. Därför är det tyvärr inte möjligt att ta med sig en assistent eller kompis till eventet. Eftersom miljön är så pass gammal och känslig gäller även särskilda förhållningsregler på platsen som du kan läsa om i reglerna.
Byggnaden är inte anpassad för personer med rörelsehinder.
Anmälan
För att vara med på eventet behöver du en godkänd anmälan. Eftersom antalet deltagare är begränsat kommer ett urval att ske vid många anmälningar. Anmälan garanterar alltså inte en plats på eventet. I anmälningsformuläret skickar du med en portfolio på upp till 5 som du tagit tidigare. Cosplayare skickar även in förslag på dräkt till eventet.
Cosplayare kan också välja att söka som en cosplayduo. Då förväntas ni ha matchande dräkter och planera alla era fotoprojekt tillsammans. Båda personerna i duon betalar dock standardpriset för eventet var för sig.
Anmälan är öppen mellan 29 maj och 22 juni. En bekräftelse skickas därefter ut på mejl till de deltagare som godkänts för eventet senast den 6:e juli.

The location we have chosen is a castle built in the 17th century. It has undergone renovations and extensions in the 18th and 19th centuries, when towers were built in each corner of the castle. Much of the interior is completely un-touched since then. The rooms offer beautiful light, wallpapers that are more than 100 years old and period furniture. Near the castle is a café that serves sandwiches, coffee etc.
The location is located in Stockholm County, approx. 30 minutes by car from central Stockholm. Car is the best way to get to the location. Bus service with SL is available, but the buses only run once or twice a day.
There is a hostel near the location but there are also plenty of other accommodation options in the rest of the Stockholm area.

We have access to the inside of the castle between 12 and 17 on the day of the event. Due to fire safety reasons, only a limited number of people are allowed in the building at the same time. Therefore, it is unfortunately not possible to bring an assistant or friend to the event. Because the environment is so old and sensitive, special rules of conduct also apply at the site, which you can read about in the rules. The building is not adapted for people with disabilities.
To participate in the event, you need an approved registration. Since the number of participants is limited, a selection will be made if there are many registrations. Registration does not guarantee a place at the event. In the registration form, you send a portfolio of up to 5 photos that you have taken previously. Cosplayers also submit a costume suggestions for the event.
Cosplayers can also choose to apply as a cosplay duo. Duos are expected to have matching costumes and plan all of their photo projects together. However, both cosplayers in the duo pay the standard price for the event separately.
Registration is open between May 29 and June 22. A confirmation will then be sent by email to participants who have been approved for the event no later than July 6th.
